Unsubscribing from any list should be easy, since unwanted email is annoying. The unsubscribe mechanism you are using is part of Jokeaday.com, which distributes the column. It almost always works. Occasionally, I don't know why, it doesn't. You might be having firewall problems, or be trying to unsubscribe from an email address other than the one you subscribed from. In this case the easiest thing, if you use Internet Explorer, is to get the emailed column onscreen, click on Message, then on Block Sender, whereupon you will never again see my smiling face. Other browsers have similar mechanisms.
